Shirokan
Dojo holds traditional Karate practices mostly Shito Ryu style,
but also with influence of Shotokan-Ryu, Goju-Ryu and Classical
Japanese Jujitsu. Shirokan Karate Club has a long experience and
many of its past and present students hold black belt degrees.
The practice of Karate has a traditional orientation, stressing
the fighting art of self-defense, development and self-improvement
in all aspects.
Karate is an empty hand fighting art where the arms and legs replace
the classical weapons. It is specialized in punching and kicking
techniques but also combines other techniques like throwing arm
locks and additional classical weapons.The Karate method taught
at Shirokan is dynamic, explosive and very effective for self-defense
in serious critical situations.
Karate training gives physical fitness, self-confidence, physical
awareness and self-improvement, physically, spiritually and socially.
Shirokan Dojo offers professional seminars, grade examinations and
Japanese recognized Diplomas. The Club is professionally in contact
with top Karate Clubs in Israel and other international organizations.
